We war between the hours of 1:30pm-5:00pm PST. If a war ends around 5:30pm we will reset and start the search for the next war the following day. A large chunk of the team resides in US east and to be fair to everyone we will not start a war later than the established window.

So basically we are a 24/7 war clan with the occasional extra day of rest.

Donations

Our clan, the way that it is structured currently, allows for a significant amount of our members to help with donations. That includes filling Clan Castles for defensive protection and during the war for offensive measures. What we donate for defense does not generally change unless if a unique set of circumstances is present. But, our specific troop strategy is of course privileged information for members only.

What if I can not donate? Only donate what is requested. If someone is requesting 'Wizards (lvl 5+)' do not donate anything but that, except if you ask and you are given permission to donate another troop. Especially during war. It isn't funny, and it could in some cases get you removed from the clan.

But my donation ratio is almost non existent? Donating is expected of you, unless if your troops do not meet the requester's parameters. We do not worry very much about your donation ratio. We respect and promote active players with a low donation ratio over a player who is struggling to keep up a ratio and hardly says a word in the clan chat.

Expectations

Sounds a little silly to have to say it but the main object of warring is to win. We consider loot as a secondary side bonus. Follow these simple rules and you will never be in danger of instigating an argument or risk getting yourself kicked for an inappropriate action.

  • If you are in war attendance, you are expected to attack. Plain and simple. With, one exception to the rule. We understand that life happens and communication may not even be an option during this time. No action will be taken after one of these said circumstances. However, we will be expecting some contact between then and the next war or you will be removed.

  • On your first attack, chose an opponent you believe is someone you can easily obtain 3 stars from defeating. If you are feeling a little nervous about an attack, or you are not entirely sure about the strategy of an attack, by all means ASK. We are a friendly bunch and everyone, especially the experienced players, are absolutely more than will to help. This is a team effort and getting a tip from someone who has been where you might be 100 times over might make the difference between a 3 star victory and a defeat that could have been avoided.

  • Hitting high (for loot) when there are clearly lower options available to pick up stars is a big no no and is not tolerated.

Looting

When is it allowed? 99/100 times it is not. If you have an attack to use and there are no available bases in range to pick up a star, consider your attack a practice hit. Use that attack to practice either an attack you are not very comfortable with or on a base that generally you would not attack because it appears a bit too difficult.

But, what if I ask nicely? Asking first was a smart idea but we frown upon loot hitting. Speaking specifically to new recruits. We only keep people who fit the Inglis mentality. Asking to loot hit only shows us that you are not the type of player we are looking for.

Attacking

  • We use a tier based system of attacking. There are 5-7 people in a tier depending on the amount of people in the war. It is your job to check http://clash.tools to know what tier you are in. That is the range of bases you are allowed to chose for your first attack. If, after the 4hr mark, there are bases still remaining in your tier, you must attack those first. If the 4hr time frame has expired and all the bases in your tier have been 3-starred you must ask a co/lead for authorization of your next hit.

  • Analyse the base you are thinking about attacking diligently. Slow down and spend a sufficient amount of time to plan your entire attack. Look for obvious traps and weak spots. Are they weak for a reason? Or just an oversight giving you a serious advantage.

  • Don't just hope your attack will succeed.  Any experienced player will tell you that almost no attack goes the way you think it will. So, be as prepared and smart about it as you possibly can. Watch youtube strategy videos (attacks that work and the attacks that fail) Why they do and how to avoid making simple mistakes. As stated before, ASK ASK ASK in the clan chat if you need help with your attack.

  • Always attack with a full clan castle, hero(s) (if applicable), and a full bag of spells. If you do not have these things ready and with you, do not pull some premature attack like you don't need them to win. There is no such thing as over kill in war. And no room here for ego.

Defending

  • All of your defenses (mortars, archer towers, canons etc.) must be inside your walls.

  • Your clan castle should be as centrally located within your defenses as possible. The more difficult it is for your attacker to draw out your troops, the more effective it will be.

  • Do not leave a 'troll base' up for any length of time. On many occasions, individuals have forgotten to switch their bases before the war starts giving our opponents and easier base to destroy. Not to mention it looks amature and reflects poorly on us.
